Response to Readers

For those who are new to the Call of Duty world, I will explain the gameplay. At the beginning of each person's "career" they have 5 custom classes. Each class can have one primary weapon and one secondary weapon. The set of guns listed are the six types of primary weapons and four types of secondarys. Also, each person can have one piece of equipment and a special grenade. The equipment ranges from throwing knives, grenades, and a claymore, and the special grenades are flash, stun, or smoke. Each person can have three perks. Each perks does different things and many combinations can be made. The three most used perks as listed are Scavenger, Stopping Power, and Ninja. Also, every perk can upgrade to the pro level giving the perk an added ability. Each person can pick this for five different classes. Also, during gameplay players can switch their class at anytime. However, you have to wait til you respawn to change your class. Some people make five classes of the different sniper rifles and combinations, while others go for light machine guns. Each person prefers their own guns to use in the game, and many players have very odd classes.

The Most Used Perks





These three perks are the most used perks throughtout the online gameplay. They are the most useful perks out of all. Scavenger allows you to pick up ammo and grenades for fallen enemies, and the pro ability gives you more magazines to begin with. Stopping power makes your bullets do more damage, and the pro ability makes your bullets do more damage to aircrafts and vehicles. Ninja makes you invisible to heartbeat sensors, and the pro ability allows you to move silently.

Inntervention Sniper Rifle



The Interventino sniper rifle has the lowest magazine capacity but the highest range out of all the sniper rifle. Also, being a bolt action rifle, the fire rate is much slower than all the others.

RPD Light Machine Gun



The RPD is a light machine gun with high damage and a very high magazine capacity. The RPD has one of the high damage rates out of all the light machine guns.

UMP45 Submachine Gun



The UMP45 is a submachine gun with a high rate of fire. However, unlike other submachine guns, the UMP45 has a higher damage rate so it acts more like a machine gun.

Scar-H



This gun is the Scar-h, which is the standard assault rifle for the NAVY SEALs today. It is classified as a heavy damamge assault rifle meaning it takes only two shots to kill someone.

The New Weaponry, Equipment, and Perks

The new weapons of Modern Warfare 2 are very unique from any other game. A player has a choice from a assault rifle, sub machine gun, light machine gun, sniper rifle, or riot shield. Also, the new selection of secondary weapons gives a player an extreme amount of choice in creating their own class. In previous games, only a pistol was available as a secondary weapon. However, in this game, a player can choose a machine pistol, shotgun, handgun, or a launcher. The Assault rifles in this game overpower any other primary in terms of standard use in a game. The Sub machine gun class have an extremely high fire rate but have little damage, so the Assault rifle overpower them by a longshot. Light Machine guns have very high magazine capacity and normally high damage and accuracy. These guns are normally used to cover other players. With over 100 rounds in the magazine, reloading doesn't need to happen very often. The Sniper rifles in this game are very powerful. There are four sniper rifles in this game. The majority of the snipers in this game can kill a person with any shot from the stomach up. The riot shield is a shield which can block bullets, explosions, and melee attacks. The secondary weapons in this game are very special to this game. Any player can be using a number of different secondary weapons. A machine pistol is fully automatic, except for one, and normally are very accurate. A shotgun as a secondary is very deadly at close range. A few of the shotguns are fully automatic, and some can be used in akimbo, which allows for two to be used at the same time. Handguns are pretty generic. They are semi-automatic, can be used in akimbo, and also have the tactical knife attachment, which speeds up a persons melee attack. The last secondary is a launcher. A launcher can be a free fire rocket, a grenade launcher, a RPG, or a ground to air missile. The new Perks in this game are also very unique. They are three different perks one can choose at one time and every perk can be upgraded to the pro level. At the pro level, the perk gets a new advantage. For example, Marathon is a perk where you have unlimited sprint time. At the pro level, Marathon Pro gives the user a quicker climb ability. the equipment in this game is also very new and very modern. Anything from standard frag grenades, to sticky grenades, claymores, a throwing knife, or a tactical insertion.
